A couple of new things to note first…

*** NEW *** PRIZEGIVINGS – there will be a prizegiving ceremony 30 minutes after the last race on both Saturday and Sunday for the NETT Championship Youth classes. Plus, on Sunday afternoon,  there will be some popping of corks when the British Quad Championship awards for the top three in the main, national expert and Under-21 categories are presented. Please all join us at both ceremonies to congratulate today’s top riders and the stars of the future.

*** NEW *** ACU OFFICIALS – in an update to the printed programme, please note our Clerk of the Course Steve McCauley will be supported by Assistant CoC Steve Ferguson.  The Steward for the British Championship event on Sunday is Fred Nicolson.

And to help you when you arrive, a few reminders….

SIGNING ON – starts at 7.30am and finishes 9.15 am – in the hut on the right hand side as you come into the paddock.

Please bring a printed copy of your ACU licence or the QR code sent to you by the ACU to prove you have a licence, otherwise a day licence will need to be purchased which incurs a fee of £15.

SACU and other licence holders must bring your licence and start permission where applicable.

Please also bring your transponder number to sign on, even if you registered it when you entered.

Also, for riders arriving for Sunday only, you can sign on between 8am and 8.45am Sunday.

Please pick up a copy of the schedule for the weekend when you are at sign-on.

PARENT SIGN ON - Parents of 50/100 cc group riders wanting to help their child on the start line must sign on during above hours. On the start line, a BLUE hi-vis bib must be worn and they must step well back when the green flag is raised.

NETT QUAD CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS CONTENDERS – please note on Sunday you race with the British Championship riders and your best two motos of the day count for NETT Championship points.

SCRUTINEERING FOR BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP QUAD CLASS RIDERS - All Quad Championship Class riders – i.e. British and NETT contenders - must have their bikes scrutineered to race on Sunday. Please present your machines (including any second machines) outside the sign-on hut for scrutineering between 8am and 8.45am Sunday morning.  Please do not be late as this has a knock on effect on everybody’s day.

RIDERS BRIEFING – 10am Saturday, 9am Sunday, riders must attend.

RUNNING ORDER –the anticipated running order is as follows….

  • Adult Supports/40s
  • 250cc (Y3/Y4)
  • 50cc/100cc (Y1/Y2)
  • Sidecars
  • Championship Quads

Race timings and lunch breaks are shown in the schedule, copies available at sign-on.

GATE PICK –   For the first race of the weekend, riders will pick a peg to determine the order in which you go to the line. Please park in the pre-start area beside the number you have selected.

Your performance within your GROUP in the first race will then determine the order you go to the gate for all the remaining races.

So, the number you are given AFTER the first race then remains the same all WEEKEND.  Please remember your start position as the pre-start area may not be manned all the time, though there will be a notice board at the holding area where you can check your start position.

The only exception this weekend is the British Quad Championship class on Sunday which will run a qualifying session at the start of the day.

Please be at pre-start area in good time, as riders may be called to the start line when the race before yours is only half over.

TEAR OFFS – we will confirm at riders briefing whether these are allowed.

PRACTICE & TRANSPONDER CHECK - please be sure to have your number board on your tail for practice and racing –and cover up any numbers on your bike that don’t match your race number.

At the start of practice, there will be a transponder check lap - please space out going over the finish line so our timing team can pick up your transponder and number board and match your name to your transponder.

RESULTS – results will be posted on the results board at the sign-on hut after each race. Please check your results after EACH race, particularly RACE 1, and be sure to raise any query you have well before the start of your next race.

CATERING - on site catering will be available throughout the weekend.

LITTER - please bring your own black bags and take your litter home.  Please be prepared to clear up around you and check you have not left any litter when you depart.

LOOS – we have been asked to remind you to tidy up after yourselves when in the portaloos and to avoid emptying chemical toilets in them – there will be an IBC in place for this purpose, please use it.

RESPECT VENUE RULES – please remember, no campfires, no pit bikes, no noise late at night – this help us maintain the good relationship we have with the tracks we hire, so we are always welcomed back.

Wishing everyone a good and safe weekend. See you there!
