Data held by the Club

Iveston & Satley MCC holds data on its members, gathered either by postal or in person membership applications, or applications made through the ACU system, and also race entry applications made in the same way. This data is stored locally by the club, and within the ACU system. It is not shared with any other 3rd parties, or used by any other 3rd party services.

Mailing List

If you sign up to our mailing list, we store your name and email address in the website database for the purpose of sending you emails to keep you up to date on news during the racing season. We appoint Tynedale Websites to control this data for the creating and sending of our emails, and for managing the data. We do not share this data with any other 3rd parties, nor use it with any 3rd party services.

We record information on how you use the emails we send you, such as if you open them and if you click on any links within them.

If you wish to receive email updates, YOU MUST subscribe at the Mailing List page.

You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time at the same page. All emails sent to you also include an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Each year, before the racing season, you will receive an email to ask you to resubscribe to the mailing list. You will need to do this to remain on the mailing list. If you don't resubscribe, your email address will be deleted from the mailing list system. You are still free to subscribe again at any time.

Contact Forms

If you use a contact form in the Contact Us section for getting in touch with the committee, your data is sent directly to our secure server, and then emailed to the recipient. Your data is not stored in our database. We can't guarantee the security of the information you send before it reaches us. Using unsecured connections such as those found in public spaces can pose a risk to your data being intercepted.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. This is to improve the user experience while you are using the site. Your browser will store a small temporary file at each visit, and will be automatically deleted within a short period of time. The website will also store details of each user's visit within its database, and this is deleted 15 minutes after the end of a user's visit. If the user does not sign in to the site during their visit, no identifiable details are stored with the data. Typical information stored would be IP address and browser details. If a user signs in to the site, then the data within their account will be connected to the cookie data stored in the database.

You can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies.
