HAVERIGG – here we go….

Nearest Postcode – LA18 4NA

Another race weekend and another new track for the club.  We look forward to welcoming you to this penultimate weekend of the NETT season and if you’ve not yet entered, please make sure you do so before 6pm Thursday – it really helps our Stu get his paperwork in order and avoids you paying a late entry penalty.

GETTING THERE – the above postcode is actually for the prison but we’re advised it will lead you the best route to the track too. Worth a look on google earth before you set out, to get your bearings!

SIGNING ON – Saturday 7.30 – 9am, in the sign on hut.  Also, for riders arriving for Sunday only, you can sign on  6-7pm – Saturday and 7.30- 8.30am Sunday.  Please bring your licence/start permission and transponder number to sign on, even if you registered it when you entered.

PARENT SIGN ON - Parents of 50/100 cc group riders wanting to help their child on the start line must sign on during above hours. On the start line, a BLUE hi-vis bib must be worn and they must step well back when the green flag is raised.

***NEW*** NO SAND TYRES PLEASE – and quad rears should measure a maximum of 20 inch overall diameter.  Some of you may recall we stipulated this at other sandy tracks and the track was much better for doing this.

*** NEW*** Quad of Nations Team fundraising – with the announcement of the 2022 team only days away, we want to kick-start the fundraising effort to support the GB riders who will be racing at Kramolin, Czech Republic this year.  Team GB Supporters T-shirts will be on sale for £15 and we will be running a 50/50 raffle where the top prize is 50% of all the funds collected.  Tickets are £3 each or 4 for £10.  The winning ticket will be drawn at Riders Briefing on Sunday morning.

RUNNING ORDER –our new running order was well received at Dean Moor so we are sticking with it!

  • Adult Supports/40s
  • 250cc (Y3/Y4)
  • 50cc/100cc (Y1/Y2)
  • Sidecars
  • Championship Quad

SCHEDULE - Please pick up at timetable at sign on.

TEAR OFFS – we will confirm at riders briefing whether these are allowed.

PRACTICE & TRANSPONDER CHECK - please be sure to have your number board on your tail for practice and racing –and cover up any numbers on your bike that don’t match your race number.

At the start of practice, there will be a transponder check lap - please space out going over the finish line so our timing team can pick up your transponder and number board and match your name to your transponder.

GATE PICK – Current Championship POINTS will determine gate pick order this weekend.  For the youth and adult classes which run together in groups, the order will be defined by the number of championship points in the group, not the individual class.   Riders without any championship points will be called to the line after the championship placed riders according to their start number.  The Start Marshal retains the right to move a bike to another position on the start gate in the interests of safety.

The gate position you are given for the first race remains the same all WEEKEND.  Please remember your start position as the pre-start area may not be manned all the time.

Please be at pre-start area in good time, as riders may be called to the start line when the race before yours is only half over.

RESULTS – results will be posted on the results board at the sign-on hut after each race. Please check your results after EACH race, particularly RACE 1, and be sure to raise any query you have well before the start of your next race.

PRIZEGIVINGS – Youth awards will be presented on Saturday night for Saturday’s events and Ironworks Sunday.

CATERING - on site catering will be available throughout the weekend.

LITTER - please bring your own black bags and take your litter home.  Please be prepared to clear up around you and check you have not left any litter when you depart.

LOOS – we have been asked to remind you to tidy up after yourselves when in the portaloos and to avoid emptying chemical toilets in them – there will be an IBC in place for this purpose, please use it.

RESPECT VENUE RULES – please remember, no campfire, no pit bikes, no noise late at night – this help us maintain the good relationship we have with the tracks we hire, so we are always welcomed back.

COVID 19 continues to be front of mind and although many restrictions have been lifted, we ask that everyone continues to take care and respect those around you.  Please be aware that all competitors and their associates are responsible for abiding by and self-policing social distancing protocols.

Wishing everyone a good and safe weekend. See you there!
