With only two more sleeps till entries close (1800 hours THURSDAY) we are looking forward to welcoming everyone this weekend, 29 and 30 May, to:

Dean Moor, CA14 4RH

NETT Championship Rd3 and Rd4 (Saturday and Sunday)

the Cromwell Trucks ACU British Quadcross Championship Rd 1 (Sunday)

and the ACU British Sidecarcross Championship Rd1  (Sunday)

COVID 19 continues to be front of mind and we ask that everyone once again adheres to Government and ACU guidelines throughout the weekend. Please be aware that all competitors and their associates are responsible for abiding by and self-policing social distancing protocols. This means maintaining the 2m + rule and wearing masks when that’s not possible.

Make sure your entry has been accepted, and you have paid for camping and a day licence, if you need one, in advance. You should also order and pay for your transponder online if you need one. Entries close 1800 hours THURSDAY.

Please do not attend if you are displaying symptoms of COVID 19, and do not bring with you anyone who is classed a “clinically extremely vulnerable” or those living with someone classed as such.

When you arrive at Dean Moor, please park sensibly, spreading out as far as possible to maximise the space between vehicles/awnings etc to achieve regulation social distance. Please park with your awning/door side to your neighbour’s blank side. Sidecar drivers and passengers can be parked adjacent to each other but must adhere to social distancing protocols.

This will take place at the side of the start area and will be open at the following times. Please maintain a 2m gap when queuing to sign on. If you weren’t at Wooley Grange last month, please bring your transponder to sign on – we are setting up a new timing system so won’t have a record of it, even if you have raced with us before.

Friday 28th  – 4pm till 7pm

Saturday 29th – 7.30am till 9am and 6pm till 7pm

Sunday 30th – 7.30am till 8.30am

Make sure you collect a timetable /programme when you sign on.

Parents of riders in the 50/100 cc group intending to accompany the rider on the start line must sign on during the above hours. On the start line, the parent must wear a hi-vis bib and step back from the line when the green flag is raised.

Scrutineering will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the same times as signing on, in front of the prestart holding area. There is no scrutineering on Friday night. Machines/helmets/body armour etc will be inspected visually by the scrutineers – under their supervision, the competitor will be asked to demonstrate the working condition of brakes, throttle etc.

10am Saturday

8.30am Sunday

All riders must attend as this is where any changes to the running order/timetable will be announced.

NETT Championship positions at the end of round 2 will determine the starting order for all races this weekend. Riders who do not feature in the NETT Championship will then be called to the line in race number order.

There will be qualifying sessions for British Quads and British Sidecars on Sunday.

Please remember riders may be called to the starting line very soon after the previous race group has set off. It is the rider’s responsibility to be there on time. Please park in the holding area as directed until you are called.

Socially distanced award ceremonies are now permitted.

There will be a prizegiving each afternoon, the first on Saturday about 5pm when winners of all Round 1 classes – adult and youths/juniors – will receive the Brian Winrow Memorial awards. Youths/juniors will also be awarded trophies on both rounds 1 and 2 which took place at Wooley Grange.

On Sunday, as soon as possible after the last race, there will be a prizegiving for the both the ACU British Quad and Sidecar Championship opening rounds.

Face coverings must be worn and shaking of hands is not permitted.

On site catering will be available throughout the weekend.

Please bring your own black bags and be prepared to clear up around you. Do not leave litter for someone else to lift. There will NOT be any bins set out in the paddock.
